Shut it down for good!
So you wanna close down Parliament? Fine. But keep it shut! We'll put up a new one in the Midlands or the North, and we'll fill it with MPs who are much more representative of our communities, and of our needs, and with a Prime Minister who has actually been elected. We refute your Victorian, feudal, oligarch arse-licking, Churchill-fantasising, privilege-protecting, poor-penalisin g, immigrant-vilifying policies that look after the monied elite, while making life much harder for those who can least afford it. So please do shut down the House of Commons. Shut down the House of Lords. The upper house, the lower house, the whole Etonian assembly! We demand a new centre of democracy away from the collapsing capital. A democracy with proportional representation, and without the anachronistic, endlessly damaging hierarchy of class-privilege and nepotism. Let's curtail these Tory old-boy yearnings for the past, and close the houses of panto...
